The venue at Montesino Ranch in Wimberley, Texas provided the perfect venue for the weekend’s Keller Wedding festivities. The cute bungalows, converted farm houses and the rustic barn made for a tremendous backdrop, and it’s a working organic farm! The wedding site itself is situated on a scenic overlook with the reception site down below. Still impressed. Let me tell a few quick stories about the wedding day.
First, a little bit, (ok a lot) of rain came through about 3pm and Jeff Koehler’s crew calmly worked through the adverse conditions to get the site prepped for the guests. The photographers were content to take pictures of rain drops and such.
Second, Maybe the best “Too Early Kiss” by David. You can see Katie’s reaction of wait, not yet! and then the whole room burst into laughter. I can’t blame a groom for wanting to kiss the bride as soon as possible. Great moment into the insight of the couple which seems to be “Life is fun, let’s live it together!”.
And the last quick story from the evening. Who in the world knew the Bride’s mom, Kitty Keller, could freestyle rap? The last photo in this gallery shows her doing just this very thing. Someone needs to leave her a new rap name in the comments. The freestyle verses were funny and rhymed, I was impressed. And yes, it will be in the video!
